Seasonal Nursery Worker

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2092 Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse such as: Walk fields to pull weeds; Pick rocks; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as soybeans, corn, hay; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employer’s fields, load employer’s crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools; speak and understand English.

Work begins March 1, 2026 and ends December 1, 2026.

Pay is $19.33 per hour.

Housing is provided.

Typical schedule: about 48 hours per week.
