Our History

Eden Valley Farm, nestled in the picturesque Chester County, Pennsylvania, has a rich agricultural heritage dating back to 1824. Initially purchased by Michael Towers, the farm has seen generations of farming evolution. In the 20th century, it served as a dairy farm for the Pennhurst State School. The late 1980s marked a new chapter when the Hunt family acquired it, continuing its farming legacy.

Our Practices

Eden Valley Beef prides itself on producing 75% Wagyu/Angus beef. The farm employs a pasture-raised model, ensuring that cows and their calves roam freely in expansive grass pastures. Beef is dry-aged for 14-21 days to amplify its renowned marbling and flavor. The cattle are part of a closed herd, meticulously raised and processed with care at Smuckers in Mt. Joy, PA, a trusted family business. All cuts are vacuum-packed and flash-frozen for freshness.

Eden Valley Beef provides a diverse selection of beef products. Customers can choose from premium cuts such as steaks, tenderloin, roasts, filet mignon, short ribs, tri-tip, sirloin, and ground beef. The farm ensures that each product showcases the superior quality of Wagyu and Angus beef.

Visiting and Purchase Options

Visitors to Chester County can purchase Eden Valley's Kobe-style beef directly at the farm, where a freezer room offers a variety of individual cuts. For those in nearby Coventryville, Red Dog Market also stocks their beef. Customers have the option to order larger quantities customized to their needs.

More Than Beef

Beyond beef, Eden Valley Farm supports a boarding stable for horses and maintains about 5 miles of private bridle trails. The farm also grows straw, hay, and silage to sustain their livestock, further demonstrating their commitment to holistic farm management.
