Ballance Family Farm is the heartfelt endeavor of Jeremiah and Heather Ballance. The couple embarked on their farming journey together in 2020, but the roots of the farm stretch back to Jeremiah's childhood. Growing up on a 10-acre property, Jeremiah learned the ropes of farming alongside his family. Following his father's passing in 2016, he took on the mantle of continuing the farm's traditions. Since their marriage in 2020, Heather has immersed herself in farming life, transforming the shared dream into a thriving reality.

Farm Practices

At Ballance Family Farm, stewardship of the earth is a core principle. They follow God’s guidance to nurture the land and animals with reverence. The farm utilizes rotational grazing practices, allowing livestock to move frequently to fresh pastures, promoting a healthy ecosystem. Their humane and ecological practices ensure that their animals, including egg layers, pigs, calves, cows, and Cornish cross meat chickens, receive the care they deserve. Local farmers supply supplemental feed, ensuring the animals’ diets are both nutritious and sustainable.
