Ballance Family Farm is the heartfelt endeavor of Jeremiah and Heather Ballance. The couple embarked on their farming journey together in 2020, but the roots of the farm stretch back to Jeremiah's childhood. Growing up on a 10-acre property, Jeremiah learned the ropes of farming alongside his family. Following his father's passing in 2016, he took on the mantle of continuing the farm's traditions. Since their marriage in 2020, Heather has immersed herself in farming life, transforming the shared dream into a thriving reality.
At Ballance Family Farm, stewardship of the earth is a core principle. They follow God’s guidance to nurture the land and animals with reverence. The farm utilizes rotational grazing practices, allowing livestock to move frequently to fresh pastures, promoting a healthy ecosystem. Their humane and ecological practices ensure that their animals, including egg layers, pigs, calves, cows, and Cornish cross meat chickens, receive the care they deserve. We get our eggs, chicken, and beef from Ballance Family Farm and have been very pleased with the quality and service. The egg yolks are clearly richer in appearance than store-bought eggs, and taste better. Their chicken and beef is delicious, and my kids prefer both every single time over store bought meats. We can tell that the Ballance family takes great care of their livestock and pride in their work/commitment to quality. Their prices are fair and they are always responsive to any questions or requests we have! Highly recommend!!

It all started with their bratwurst, so yummy! Since then my mom and I visit to grab our meats before they sell out. Heather is such a kind soul and is very passionate on what her and her husband do on the farm to provide high quality delicious meat and farm fresh eggs within the community. We have purchased ground beef, steaks (filet mignon & ribeye), beef short ribs, bratwurst, bacon, bone in and out pork chops, pork spare ribs, maple sausage links, whole chicken, eggs, and many more to name. Please give Ballance Family Farm your business if you are on the search for locally pasture raised meat and eggs!! You won’t be disappointed.
I have ordered now twice Ballance Family Farms fresh breakfast sausage and pork chops and both were amazing! I can not rave enough about their bone-in pork chops! I am not sure if I have ever had any that were better then the ones we recieved from Ballance Farm. I am always amazed at the difference and freshness you can taste in locally farm raised meat over store bought. I would encourage anyone who can to support this amazing little local farm! You will be happy you did!
We are newer customers and we were able to buy their pork and it has been delicious! Our kids thoroughly enjoy it and we are so thankful we can feed them something healthy from a local farm! She was even so kind to let our kids feed her pigs when we came to pick up our meat order!
Heather and Jeremiah have always been so kind and you can tell they truly love what they do!!! I personally have had the their breakfast sausage, eggs and beef…. all are delicious!!! We don’t ever regret getting food from them and will continue to do so!!!
