Cornell Farms focuses on natural beef production and breeding stock sales, emphasizing genetic quality and herd management. They raise their own herd sires for natural breeding, prioritizing traits like good feet, udders, and temperament. AI sired sons are selected to enhance genetic traits, and an embryo transfer (ET) program accelerates improvements within top cow families. The farm retains bulls from productive cow lines and sells bred heifers and young cows with calving expected from late March onwards.
The farm sells beef breeding stock, including yearling bulls, 2-year-old bulls, and herd sires, with options for calving ease or performance. Natural beef products are available through direct sales, online ordering, and local farmers’ markets. These include cold meats, sausages, and smoked pork, produced without antibiotics, growth implants, or artificial feed.
Cornell Farms hosts barn dances and concerts, offering a glimpse into rural Ontario life. The farm is located in the pristine Rainy River District along the Ontario/Minnesota border. Free delivery is available within the district, and orders are grouped for centralized pickup to reduce shipping costs.
Beef products are sold through online ordering, farmers’ markets, and direct sales. The farm emphasizes transparency, with detailed summaries available for bull selection. Customers are encouraged to visit the farm to review breeding stock and discuss needs with the team.

Quality meats at a great price. Always good to have a fantastic ‘shop local’ option. The marinated steak is really something special. Also great community minded business supporting music and the arts. The summer concerts are well attended/supported.
Beef summer sausage with cranberries was a huge hit! Great farm, great family!
A beautiful farm, run by a very hospitable family, with good-sized animals.
