Introduction

Prairie Foods offers a range of nutrient-dense and naturally produced foods from independent regenerative farms. These farms are often operated by Amish and Mennonite communities who follow sustainable practices, focusing on soil health and animal well-being.

Practices

Prairie Foods emphasizes regenerative farming, which includes chemical-free, GMO-free, drug-free, and humane animal treatment practices. Their approach helps heal and enrich the soil, supporting a chemical-free environment that benefits both animals and crops. All products are free from antibiotics, vaccines, growth hormones, and wormers.

Dairy Offerings

Their dairy products, such as raw A2A2 milk, cheese, and butter, are sourced from 100% grass-fed cows that graze on fresh pasture daily. This milk is never heated or homogenized, preserving its natural enzymes and rich taste. The cheeses are handcrafted in small batches from A2A2 milk to ensure quality and a variety of flavors.

Milk and Yogurt

• Fresh Raw A2A2 Milk is available in half-gallon glass containers, offering a creamy taste and improved digestibility.
• Greek Yogurt is made with this milk, slow-cultured for enhanced flavor and texture.

Butter

• Both salted and unsalted raw butters are churned in small batches with no additives, resulting in a product with deep flavor that varies seasonally.

Cheese

• Various cheeses are offered, such as Mild Cheddar, Sharp Cheddar, Mozzarella, Swiss, and Colby, crafted using small-batch methods from pure raw milk.

Poultry and Eggs

Prairie Foods also provides pasture-raised poultry products. The hens have outdoor access, leading to eggs that are unwashed for extended freshness and diverse shell colors. Chicken and pullet eggs are available, with a focus on soybean-free diets for their birds.

Meat Products

All beef is sourced from cattle grazing on regenerative pastures. They are never fed grain but instead thrive on grass and sunshine alone, ensuring a level of nutrition and flavor that differentiates them from grain-fed products.

Purchasing Options

Prairie Foods offers both pickup locations and home delivery options. Detailed lists of the pickup locations can be found on their website, though specific physical store locations are not provided.

Conclusion

Prairie Foods is dedicated to providing high-quality, nutrient-dense foods that are produced under strict guidelines for purity and sustainability. By connecting consumers with ethically-minded farming communities, they ensure that every purchase supports better health for people and the planet.
