Emphasizing environmental, social, and economic sustainability, they raise livestock outdoors on pasture and cover crops and manage the land without chemical sprays. The farm practices regenerative pasture management and ecological agriculture principles.

Offerings

The farm prides itself on a variety of offerings. Their premium pork and beef can be purchased in several forms: individual cuts, bulk bundles, or as part of their convenient winter meat share program, which runs from November through February. Customers can enjoy an assortment of meat cuts each month, including sausage, bacon, roasts, and ground beef. They also offer whole and half hog shares and retail cuts.

Their pasture-raised, organically fed beef is available as part of a summer meat share, in bulk quantities, and even at the Media Farmers Market. The beef comes from Jersey steer raised without antibiotics or hormones, primarily on forage, supplemented with organic grain.

Additionally, Pasture Song Farm offers a Spring Flower CSA, allowing members to receive fresh bouquets or buckets of blooms over a 4 to 6-week period. This program is a wonderful way to enjoy seasonal flowers such as ranunculus, anemones, and colibri poppies.

Buying and Picking Up

Pasture Song Farm ensures ease of access with their convenient online ordering system. Purchases can be picked up at the farm on Wednesday afternoons or Saturday mornings, and additional pickup is available at Red Dog Market on Wednesday afternoons. Some meat cuts can also be found at a local grocer. For those looking to stock up, bulk bundles provide a variety of cuts at discounted prices.
