Dillner Family Farms uses sustainable agriculture methods, including mulch, crop rotation, integrated pest management (IPM), and drip irrigation. They source seeds from reputable companies like Rupp Seed, Seedway, Harris Seed, and Johnny's Seed. The farm emphasizes fresh, home-washed produce and pasture-raised meats, including grass-fed beef, lamb, and non-GMO pork from Nowicki Farms.

Offerings

The farm provides a wide range of products through their CSA program and online store. These include seasonal fruits and vegetables (such as heirloom tomatoes, sweet corn, and blueberries), herbs, plants, raw honey, and locally raised meats. 'Jane’s Specials' allow CSA members to order additional items like extra produce, brown eggs, and specialty plants 48 hours before pickup.

CSA Program

Dillner Family Farms offers multiple share sizes for their CSA program, catering to families and individuals. Large shares (for 3–5 people) cost $550 for 20 weeks, while small shares (for 2 adults) are $370 for the same period. Biweekly large shares are available at $335 for 10 weeks. Members can add an egg share featuring cage-free Rhode Island Red eggs. The program includes a 'Swap Box' option for trading unwanted items and Jane’s Specials for ordering extras.

Buying & Ordering

CSA members can place orders for Jane’s Specials via the online store, requiring a 48-hour advance notice. Orders are delivered with regular CSA shares to pickup sites. Same-day orders are not accepted. Members receive an email list of available extras each Thursday during the CSA season. Produce is fresh-picked and not pre-washed, with instructions to wash at home.
