Practices

Crighton Family Farm prioritizes organic farming methods and direct-to-consumer sales. Garlic and onions are grown locally in Butler County, PA, hand-harvested, and freeze-dried using a Harvest Right system to retain flavor and nutrients. Products like freeze-dried garlic powder blend four garlic varieties (Red Italian, Purple Italian, Chesnok Red, and German) with Redmond Real Salt. Onions are similarly processed from red, yellow, and white varieties. Beekeeping supports handmade beeswax lip balm and honeycomb candles, while pasture-raised chickens provide dehydrated feet and freeze-dried liver treats. All practices emphasize pesticide-free, non-GMO, and locally sourced ingredients.
