Apple Ridge Farm prioritizes sustainability through regenerative farming, non-GMO vegetable cultivation, and pasture-based animal raising. Vegetables are grown without chemicals, using natural soil inputs. Chickens roam freely on pasture, with 300 hens during green season and 60 broilers raised weekly. Pigs and rabbits contribute to soil health through their manure. Waste products like leaves and manure are repurposed within the farm.

Offerings

The farm sells fresh produce, pasture-raised meats (chickens, pigs, rabbits), and baked goods at their on-farm store. Seasonal items include sourdough bread, pizzas, soups, and vegan chili. Partner farm Scratch, featured in Easton Public Market, produces wood-fired pizzas and sourdough bread using Apple Ridge’s ingredients.

Visiting & Buying

The farm store is open daily 10-6, except Sunday and Thursday (10-4). Fresh sourdough bread is available Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Customers can preorder online or pick up at the farm store. Local health food stores also carry Apple Ridge products.

History & Philosophy

Founded by Brian Bruno, Apple Ridge emphasizes sustainable food production since the 1990s. Sheep have been raised since 1995, with cheese production beginning in 2017. The farm’s approach integrates livestock, baking, and regenerative practices to create a closed-loop system.
