Corad Farms was founded by Mervin and Judy Hunt in 1970. Located in Pakenham, Ontario, the farm remains a family-operated business, now run by Mervin alongside his sons, Cory and Chad, and their families. They manage over 1000 acres of farmland dedicated to corn, soybeans, and hay, ensuring sustainable practices.

Practices

Corad Farms prides itself on offering naturally raised beef. Their cattle is pasture-raised, ensuring they receive the highest quality of homegrown hay, pasture grass, and grains. The farm adheres to strict practices with no added hormones, steroids, or antibiotics, as mandated by law. All processing is done at a provincially inspected facility for consumer assurance.

Offerings

Corad Farms specializes in a range of beef products including tenderloin filet mignon, ribeye steaks, and ground beef. They also offer custom beef orders for whole, half, or mixed quarters and one-eighths. Each item is sold by weight, with pricing determined after weighing, and there's no need for upfront payments.

How to Buy

Shopping is easy through Corad Farms' online store. Simply submit your order request; they'll handle the weighing and detailing of final pricing. Orders over $125 are eligible for free delivery within 50 km every Thursday, provided orders are placed by Tuesday at noon. For lesser orders, pickup is available at the farm or the Carp Farmers' Market on designated days.
