CampHouse Farm is founded on the belief that good food starts with honest practices. Greg and Annie, the dedicated owners, commit to organic methods, using homemade compost for their vegetables and avoiding pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Their love for traditional farming has led them to grow over fifty different kinds of vegetables, with a focus on sustainability and community engagement.

Farming Practices

The farm prides itself on chemical-free agriculture, having maintained pasture land free from chemicals for over 30 years. All of their cattle are grass-fed and finished, receiving organic hay to ensure healthy livestock. Pigs and chickens are raised outdoors on non-GMO feed, providing an ethical and natural lifestyle for all animals on the farm.

Offerings

CampHouse Farm offers a diverse array of products available through their CSA program and online shop. The CSA provides fresh, seasonal vegetables each week for 20 weeks, with options for small and large bags. Customers can also add extra vegetables, eggs, or meat products. The farm's online store features a variety of beef cuts, including tenderloin and striploin steaks, along with honey sourced from Lavender Hills Farm and maple syrup from Maple Ridge Farm.

Visiting and Shopping

With the grand opening of their farm store, visitors can explore their beautiful location at 1432 Line 8 N, Oro-Medonte, from Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The store offers seasonal produce and accepts cash or e-transfer. For convenience, products can also be purchased online with options for pickup at the farm or the Fairgrounds Market on Saturdays.
