Becaguimec Farm prioritizes certified organic production, ethical animal treatment, and local sourcing. Animals are raised on pasture with access to open spaces, minimizing medication use. The farm emphasizes environmental stewardship, including stream and forest health, and supports community well-being through neighbor-focused practices.

Offerings

The farm sells veal, pork, and poultry (chickens, turkeys) raised on-site. Veal and pork can be ordered by the side or whole, with prices around $4 per pound for veal and pork (subject to change). Chickens and turkeys are available whole, with turkey pricing at $3.50 per pound. Piglets (Landrace/Yorkshire F1-Duroc) are sold individually at $90 each. Seasonal availability and advance ordering (4–6 months for veal/pork) are noted.

Visiting & Buying

Products are sold directly through the farm’s website, with an online store in development. For now, customers must contact the farm via email (shapiroe@gmail.com) or phone. Meat is also available at local markets like Woodstock Farm and Craft Market in Woodstock, NB. Prices listed (as of August 2017) are subject to change based on market and feed conditions.
