Open Hands Farm is rooted in the community of Northfield, MN, spanning 17 acres of certified organic farmland. This farm, under the stewardship of Ben and Erin, connects families to the freshest local produce available. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

The essence of Open Hands Farm's CSA program is community involvement. From mid-June through October, members converge weekly at the farm to collect their carefully curated shares. These shares include a rich diversity of freshly harvested vegetables, catering to the seasons' offerings. Options extend beyond vegetables, with produce such as eggs, mushrooms, cheese, and beef available through add-ons. CSA members also enjoy the flexibility of mixing, matching, and U-Pick options to tailor their shares.

Wholesale Offerings

Beyond the CSA, Open Hands Farm supplies many wholesale accounts, providing certified organic crops to schools, colleges, natural food retailers, and distributors. Special emphasis is placed on their expertise with crops like peppers, carrots, beets, cabbage, and kale, mainly available from late summer through March. Compliance with USDA GAP certification ensures high standards of food safety across their offerings.

Pick Up and Location Details

The farm facilitates easy access for CSA pickups at their Northfield location each Tuesday and Thursday between 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. Eggs require a separate arrangement, available for pick up only on Tuesdays, either weekly or bi-weekly. Located just west of Northfield, the farm offers both members and wholesale clients a convenient and welcoming drop-in setting.
