Meet the farm
Mint Creek Farm is an organic, pasture-based farm that primarily focuses on selling premium, grass-fed meats and eggs to the Chicago area. They offer a variety of products including beef, lamb, pork, and poultry through a subscription-based CSA program and local farmers' markets. The farm emphasizes sustainable and ethical farming practices while also providing educational experiences through farm events.
Mint Creek Farm is renowned for its strong commitment to organic and regenerative farming practices. Their livestock, including heritage Black and Red Angus cattle, graze on 220 acres of certified organic prairie pastures. The cattle are 100% grass-fed and finished without the use of grain, growth hormones, or antibiotics, and are supplemented with an organically approved mineral mix.
Mint Creek Farm's product line includes a variety of grass-fed meats, poultry, eggs, and honey, all available for purchase through their online store. Customers can choose between individual cuts or bulk options for beef, chicken, lamb, goat, pork, boar, and turkey. Their meats are dry-aged and flash frozen to ensure peak nutrition and flavor.
For those seeking convenience and a variety of meats, Mint Creek offers a CSA membership program. This includes options for monthly home delivery within the Chicago, Evanston, and Oak Park areas, or pick-up in other locations for those outside the delivery zone. Members benefit from a range of meat cuts, from premium to ground, at a discount.
Mint Creek Farm hosts a variety of events, including farm tours, dinners prepared by guest chefs, and live music, offering visitors a chance to experience the farm firsthand. CSA members enjoy discounted event tickets.
Purchases can be made online with options for home delivery or pick-up at local farmers' markets and designated locations. Orders for delivery must be placed by Monday 5pm for Wednesday service.
Mint Creek Farm is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service with clear refund, delivery, and cancellation policies to ensure customer satisfaction.
