History

Kistlercrest Farm has deep roots in the tradition of maple syrup production, dating back to 1895. Founded by John Kistler, the farm has remained in the family for over five generations, maintaining both the legacy and the land itself. Today, it's run by Ron and Sue Kistler, who continue the family's dedication to quality syrup-making.

Practices

At Kistlercrest Farm, syrup-making is a craft passed down through the family. They are known for small-batch production, ensuring each bottle embodies their commitment to quality. The process involves tapping sap from sugar maple trees, using a network of sap lines for efficient collection. The sap is boiled in a state-of-the-art evaporator, then bottled using traditional methods.
