Almar Orchards Organic is a family-owned farm operated by the Koan family, who are dedicated to sustainable agricultural practices. This fifth-generation farm is a testament to long-standing traditions combined with a modern approach to organic farming.

The farm spans an impressive 300 acres, of which 150 acres are devoted to organic apple and pear orchards. They prioritize organic and sustainable practices, ensuring their products are free from sulfites, preservatives, and additives. Almar Orchards is certified organic, using only natural ingredients, and their products are also gluten-free and certified kosher.

Offerings

Almar Orchards is renowned for its hard ciders and diverse Haybaler Switchel drinks, which come in flavors such as Original, Cherry, Cayenne, and Mooseberry. The cider is made from apples that might not be suitable for fresh eating but are perfect for cider making, resulting in a product that’s both resourceful and delicious.

Their apple cider donuts have a loyal following, leading to an expansion of their kitchen to meet demand. Flavors include Apple Cider, Cinnamon Sugar, and various glazes. Additionally, they produce organic apple cider vinegar, honey, and other natural products available at their year-round farm store.
