History and Values

Founded in 1973 by Bill and Donna Stoltzfus, Cloverleaf moved to Buhl, Idaho in 2007. The farm-to-table vision centers on family heritage, with registered Holsteins grazing pastures seasonally and receiving balanced winter feed. While not certified organic, their practices emphasize cow welfare, with antibiotics only used when necessary and affected milk discarded for extended periods.

Farming Practices

The farm follows sustainable methods: grass-fed grazing during spring, summer, and fall, and a winter diet of homegrown hay, corn, and triticale. Milk is pasteurized at low temperatures to preserve creaminess, and glass bottles are reused through customer deposits. No raw milk is sold, but whole milk is offered as the closest alternative.

Products and Offerings

Cloverleaf markets dairy staples (milk, yogurt, cream) alongside seasonal ice cream flavors like Butter Pecan and Coffee with coconut oil. Stores in Buhl and Twin Falls also feature Idaho-grown items, coffee drinks, Boise Pie Co. desserts, and local honey. Ice cream is available by scoop or pint, with no dairy-free or sugar-free options currently.

Buying and Visiting

Products are available at multiple Idaho locations, including Twin Falls, Burley, Rupert, and Pocatello. No home delivery is offered, but bottles can be returned at any retail location. The farm market operates as a one-stop shop for dairy and local goods, with store-specific hours listed online.
