Since 2021, the Jackson Family has been offering a range of high-quality, chemical-free produce as part of the local market farm community. Their focus on sustainable practices not only improves soil health but also enhances the community’s access to fresh, nutritious food.

Farming Practices

Blessed Family Farms employs various sustainable farming methods to ensure their products are both healthy and environmentally friendly. They use No Spray practices, relying on organic fertilizers and aged compost to enrich the soil. This approach also includes minimal tillage and mulching to control weeds naturally. Their dedication to these practices allows them to offer a variety of produce without the use of chemicals.

Offerings

The farm grows a diverse array of fruits, vegetables, and herbs including tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, cucurbits, greens, brassicas, roots, onions, corn, beans, snap peas, potatoes, and even flowers. In addition to cultivating produce, the Jacksons also raise their own meat, allowing them to provide their community with both plant-based and animal-based foods.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

A key offering of Blessed Family Farms is their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Customers can choose to receive weekly produce baskets, which can be delivered straight to their door or picked up at designated locations. The baskets feature produce harvested close to delivery time, maximizing freshness and flavor.

Pickup and Delivery Options

Blessed Family Farms offers flexible options for accessing their CSA baskets. Customers can choose pick-up locations in Nampa or Boise on Wednesdays, or directly at the farm on Thursdays. For those preferring delivery, baskets can be delivered for an $8 fee per week in Fruitland or within a 10-minute radius of the drop-off points. Additional fees apply for deliveries outside these areas.
