History

Tony and Shari Martin founded Martin's Garden at Coleman Farms in 2015, turning seven acres into a haven for sustainable agriculture and community support. Their goal was to create a place that encourages healthy living and provides support to charitable organizations. With a dedicated team, including Farm Manager Cameron Stribling, they have built a thriving community cornerstone.

Practices

The farm is committed to sustainable, non-certified organic farming. They use natural fertilizers, compost, and preventative pest control methods. This approach ensures nutritious and flavorful produce while maintaining ecological balance. Their commitment extends to hosting events that nurture community spirit and sustainability education.

Offerings

Martin's Garden offers a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, allowing members to subscribe to seasonal shares of fresh, locally grown vegetables. Additionally, members can opt for extras like dairy, meats, and specialty items. Their in-person plant sale features over 50 varieties of organic vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers.

Community Engagement

The farm is deeply rooted in community service and engagement. They regularly donate produce to local charities like North Fulton Community Charities, reinforcing their commitment to give back. The farm is also a place where children can learn about agriculture and enjoy visiting goats, sheep, and chickens.

Situated at 410 Coleman Road, Roswell, GA, Martin's Garden welcomes visitors to their annual plant sales and offers fresh vegetables at the Roswell Farmers Market and through their CSA. Special events like their Open Plant Sale provide community members the opportunity to explore the farm and make purchases.
