First Light Farm & Learning Center, located in the heart of Carnation, WA, is a vibrant U-Pick vegetable farm devoted to community and sustainable agriculture. Farming Practices

Offerings

For those interested in more structured support, the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program provides weekly deliveries of fresh, seasonal vegetables. Customers support local farming by paying upfront, which helps offset early planting costs.

Educational Programs

Classes cover topics like tomato growing, ethnobotany, and kale in the kitchen. Some classes are free for participants in the Mini Farm program.

The Workshare Program provides hands-on experience in sustainable farming. Participants work 4 hours weekly in exchange for a bag of fresh produce, enriching their knowledge and strengthening their tie to the land.
