Earthwise Farm and Forest operates on 100 acres in Bethel, Vermont, using organic and regenerative farming methods. The farm follows Holistic Management principles, emphasizing soil health through pasture grazing, composting, and minimal chemical use. Cows are raised on 100% pasture with supplemental minerals during grazing season, while chickens are fed organic grain and allowed to forage freely. Products are certified organic, with a focus on closed-loop systems that enrich the land.

Offerings

The farm provides a range of products:

• Dairy: Grass-fed raw milk from Guernsey/Brown Swiss cross cows (Ubiquitous and Phoenix)
• Meat: Organic Freedom Ranger chicken raised on pasture
• Produce: Organic garlic, vegetables, and seasonal cut flowers (mid-July to late September)
• Preserves: Organic blueberry jam, dill pickle relish, and ginger-rhubarb jam
• Handmade Goods: Profanity Pottery with custom phrases and bamboo pens
• Educational Experiences: Cheese-making classes, dowsing workshops, and livestock management training

Visiting and Buying

Customers can pick up products directly at the farm (341 Macintosh Hill Rd, Bethel, VT 05032) by emailing or texting 802-353-5039. Delivery is available for flowers depending on location. Orders for preserves and pottery can be shipped upon request. The farm store is open daily for in-person purchases.

On-Farm Education

Year-round workshops include:

• Butter, yogurt, and cheese-making classes with Lisa McCrory
• Dowsing workshops with Steve Herbert
• Livestock management and hand-milking experiences
  Private group sessions and custom educational programs are available by arrangement. Classes are held on-site or tailored to individual schedules.

The farm prioritizes regenerative practices, including rotational grazing for cattle and chickens, and organic certification for all agricultural products. Profanity Pottery is crafted using locally sourced materials, and all food products avoid GMO ingredients and chemical additives.
