History and Mission

Double Barrel Game Farm Inc has grown to become one of the largest gamebird producers in North America. With a farm near McCool Junction, Nebraska, they hatch approximately 1.7 million eggs each year and raise over 200,000 gamebirds to maturity. Their mission is to produce the healthiest and strongest gamebirds in the country by focusing on superior genetics, welfare, and nutrition.

Practices

The farm emphasizes creating a natural, wild-like environment for its birds, maintaining a strong focus on welfare and biosecurity. Birds are raised with optimal care, using high-protein and well-balanced micro-mineral diets to ensure peak health and vitality. Chicks are offered as day-olds and started birds with blinders are available at six weeks.

Offerings

Double Barrel Game Farm offers a diverse range of gamebird products. Customers can purchase Ringneck pheasant chicks, breeder hens, and eggs; Bobwhite quail chicks and eggs; and day-old chukar partridge chicks. All products stem from meticulously maintained breeding stock to ensure quality, health, and hardiness.

Starter Feed

In addition to chicks and eggs, the farm provides a custom starter feed with 27% protein and added medication, designed to support young birds’ growth from day one.

Buying Experience

Products are available for reservation and can be picked up from the farm or shipped directly. Orders destined for postal delivery are shipped via USPS, while larger orders can be transported through specialized carriers. Customers can choose on-farm pickup as the default shipping option, subject to a $150 minimum purchase.
