Creekside Meadows Farm, located in New Woodstock, NY, is a proud veteran-owned family venture that has heartily embraced sustainable and regenerative agriculture for over 25 years. The farm's practices are a tribute to the environment, focusing on 100% grass-fed beef and pasture-raised pork, although pork offerings have been suspended this year due to operational changes.

Farming Practices

At the heart of Creekside Meadows Farm is a commitment to sustainable, holistic farming. The farm takes great pride in maintaining pesticide- and herbicide-free pastures. They employ techniques like rotational grazing and provide organic minerals to their animals. Their beef is entirely grass-fed and raised without grain, hormones, or routine antibiotics, emphasizing animal welfare and environmental responsibility.

Pollinator habitats are supported, and the farm employs regenerative practices to enrich the soil. Covering crops with fabric row covers and managing weeds with tarps or propane flame throwers are just some of the innovative measures they use.

Offerings

Creekside Meadows Farm offers a variety of products that include heirloom popcorn, pure maple syrup, farmstead soaps, and seasonal sunflowers and sweet corn. Although pork and vegetable sales are not available this year, the farm continues to focus on providing high-quality, diverse offerings.

100% Grassfed Beef

The farm's centerpiece is its grass-fed beef, available in various packages to suit different needs: whole, half, and quarter cuts, or, for simplicity, a 20-pound box of mixed cuts. This beef is not just a product, but a testament to sustainable and healthy living.

Buyer Experience

Creekside Meadows Farm invites customers to engage directly through their farmstand during the summer months. They emphasize the importance of building community relationships and ensuring food security.
