Cane Creek Farm has been a cornerstone of the Snow Camp community since its establishment in Saxapahaw, NC, in 2015. Known for its dedication to heritage breeds like the Ossabaw Island Hog, the farm emphasizes traditional farming methods. In 2020, owner Eliza MacLean relocated Cane Creek Farm to a historic property on Highway 87, enhancing its commitment to sustainable farming.

Practices

Cane Creek Farm prides itself on sustainable practices, focusing on animal welfare and soil health. They specialize in raising heritage breeds and employ rotational grazing for sheep and free-range practices for poultry. Livestock, including heritage pigs and grass-fed sheep, are raised without antibiotics, hormones, or animal by-products.
