Our Heritage

Brattset Family Farm, LLC is a second-generation enterprise located in the heart of Southeastern Wisconsin. The farm spans 290 acres of lush grassland, providing a rich environment for their carefully managed livestock. Owners Kirsten, Pat, Jessica, Jacob Jurcek, Damon, Trish, and Bethany Brattset proudly carry forward a legacy rooted in sustainability and care for the land.

Farming Practices

Adhering to Certified Organic Standards, Brattset Family Farm's practices exclude the use of GMOs, herbicides, pesticides, hormones, and synthetic fertilizers. Livestock are raised under humane conditions focusing on stress-free environments. Managed Intensive Grazing and rotational grazing practices maximize the health of their cattle, with diligent care taken to protect soil, water, and wildlife habitats.

Livestock and Products

The farm specializes in 100% grass-fed and finished beef. Their herd, comprised of 30 cows, their calves, and one bull, grazes on expansive pastures and are carefully managed for optimal well-being. Beef is available seasonally, with whole, half, and quarter cuts offered by reservation from June through December. Additionally, pastured pork is available for purchase in the fall.

Buyer Experience

Customers can make reservations for beef with a required deposit—$100 for whole or half, and $75 for a quarter animal. For those interested in specific cuts, pre-orders can be placed, and purchases can be made at the farm's on-premises "Porch Store" while supplies last. Processing occurs at either Wilson Farm Meats or Johnson’s Sausage Shoppe, preserving quality every step of the way.
