Brad’s Farm Market prioritizes sustainability and transparency. They use integrated pest management (IPM), cover cropping, and nutrient management plans to protect soil health. Their beef is raised without steroids or hormones, grass- and grain-fed, and dry-aged for three weeks to enhance flavor. Produce is grown seasonally, with CSA shares reflecting the rhythm of the growing season. The farm supports local ecosystems through soil conservation methods and partnerships with nearby Amish farms for free-range eggs.

Offerings

The farm offers a range of products:

• Produce: Seasonal shares (spring, summer, fall) include corn, tomatoes, peppers, beans, squash, and zucchini. Add-on options include free-range eggs.
• Beef: Retail cuts (steaks, roasts, ground beef) and wholesale options (whole, half, or quarter cattle). Dry-aged for 3 weeks, sourced from local butchers.
• Pork & Flowers: Sold directly at the farm, alongside grain and greenhouse-grown flowers.
• CSA Shares: Regular, weekly half-shares, and flex shares (redeemable for $325–$550 in produce). Shares are picked up at the farm during specific times.

Visiting & Events

Join the farm for seasonal activities like their fall festival and U-Pick pumpkin patch (October). The CSA includes weekly pickups from mid-May to October, with specific times for different share types. The farm hosts events that highlight local food and community connection.

How to Buy

• CSA: Sign up online or mail a registration form to 550 Asbury Road, Churchville, MD 21028. Payments are non-refundable, and shares must be picked up in person.
• Beef: Email to reserve, pay a $100 deposit, and work with a local butcher (Wagner’s Meats) for custom cuts. Wholesale orders are available year-round.
• Retail: Visit the farm during business hours to purchase produce, beef cuts, pork, and flowers. Flex shares allow in-person redemption of vouchers for edible products.

Location & Pickup

All CSA shares must be picked up at Brad’s Produce, 550 Asbury Road, Churchville, MD 21028. No delivery or shipping options are available. Pickup times vary by share type (Tuesdays, Thursdays, or flex hours).
