History and Ownership

Bama Bison RV Park & Farm was established in 2014 in Crawford, Alabama, by a veteran-owned family. The farm has since grown into a distinctive destination for those looking to experience rural life and enjoy high-quality bison products.

Farming Practices

The farm is dedicated to sustainable agriculture, emphasizing regenerative land management and humane animal husbandry. Bama Bison maintains a 100% pasture-raised herd, with 95% of their diet consisting of grass and natural forage. Their bison are grass-fed and grass-finished without the use of growth hormones or antibiotics. They are humanely field harvested, ensuring a low-stress environment for the animals, and processed in a USDA-inspected facility.

Products and Offerings

Bama Bison offers dry-aged bison meat, available for purchase directly from the farm. Seasonal products and farm goods are also available to customers. The farm provides a unique venue for special events, set amidst the serene countryside.

The RV campground offers back-in sites with full hookups under mature pines, as well as a dry camping area for short stays. Campers can enjoy amenities like picnic tables and fire rings. For a more immersive experience, lodging is available through Airbnb, allowing guests to experience the rustic charm of the farm up close.
