3N Livestock is a family-owned farm that specializes in breeding and selling show pigs for 4H and FFA programs. They offer a variety of show pigs, including crossbred, Duroc, and Yorkshire breeds, and also provide pork products processed locally for consumer purchase. The business emphasizes quality and community involvement in livestock education.
3N Livestock was established in 2002 by Tim and Angie Barney to support their children's livestock projects. What began as a family initiative to raise show stock for Nick, Nathan, and Nolan Barney evolved into a broader mission: providing high-quality show pigs for 4H and FFA members in the community.
The farm focuses on raising heritage-bred pigs for competitive show purposes. They maintain a herd of nearly 70 sows, carefully selected for their ability to produce pigs capable of excelling at county and state fair levels. All pork is processed locally by Brookview Farms in Archbold, Ohio, under Ohio Department of Agriculture inspection.
Pork is available in pre-packaged frozen cuts, wrapped in plastic and paper for easy storage. Customers can choose from family-sized packages, with options for pickup at the farm or local delivery. Payment is accepted via cash or credit card at the time of pickup.
The farm is located at 9002 Monclova Road, Monclova, OH 43542. Orders can be placed by contacting Tim (419-467-2497), Angie (419-467-5947), or Nolan (419-936-0044). Gift certificates are available for purchase. Packages are limited and based on availability, so early orders are encouraged.
The Barneys prioritize supporting young agriculturalists through their show pig programs. By offering adoption opportunities and competitive stock, they help 4H and FFA members build skills and confidence in livestock management.
Practice details are available on the farm page when the seller provides them.
