Has a decent selection of meats, but will say some of the quality we had was just okay for the high price/could’ve been trimmed better - beef jerky is not good (avoid the $10) Like that they had frozen livers & tallow in stock though

Great custom butcher shop. Recently we took a class on lamb butchery there. The demonstration was performed by one of the owners of the shop, Elliott. Very knowledgeable and the lamb chops he cut us were thick and look delicious.

This is a great neighborhood find especially if you were used to shopping at Tinnell’s butcher back in the day. This is right around the corner from Fresh Market and gives you the chance to support a local business owner. We had rib eyes and NY strips which were delicious. Fancier steaks like dry aged and Tomahawk are available.

The filets can not be beat. Actually everything I've had from this butchery. Their excellent customer service tops it off. So much more than what you get from grocery meat counter.

If you are buying your meat and fish anywhere but Yard Bull you are missing out. I stock up weekly on things like Filet, Ribeye, Salmon, NY strip. I refuse to even buy ground beef anywhere else. My boyfriend thinks I have become a much improved chef since changing where we source our protein (Kroger/Food Lion was dog meat quality compared to this place)! I would give 20 stars if I could, LOVE this place! Here is a pic of tonight’s dinner with the Yard Bull salmon I bought earlier.

This is the only good butcher in the area worth going to. I have gotten several cuts of meat and sausage and have always been impressed!

We visited for the first time this morning. Elliot and Jordan were so friendly and welcoming. We bought two gorgeous filets for dinner. They were absolutely delicious. We’re so excited to have such a great shop within walking distance of our house. Looking forward to trying some of their other meats and seafood. Highly recommend.
