Withywindle Valley Farm

In my younger years my wife and I raised our own lamb and it had been the best we had ever had for many, many years. Not for lack of trying. We tried many specialty markets buying whole and half lambs, but it was never anywhere near our own grass raised lamb until Withywindle Valley Farm. Their lamb is absolutely top notch. Best we have had. The owner, Carissa, is a lovely soul doing humanity a great service running the farm and raising the animals as she does. We highly recommend this business.

I’ve gotten half a pig plus some dog treats, oh duck eggs too! All have been amazing. The pig is some of the best I’ve eaten around. My dogs LOVE the single ingredient treats.

An excellent farm that sells organic and ethically raised meat. No part of the animal is wasted, the farmers even make their own dog treats from any part of the meat they can't use! They tan the hides and are hardworking people who do a really great job. Not only that but they are the friendliest people you could ever meet. Support them in their endeavour to raise happy, healthy animals. If I could give them more stars I would! But 5 will have to do!

Withywindle raises the most delicious meat I have ever tasted! Carissa’s farming practice is exceptional, taking a regenerative approach to grazing sheep that positively impacts the environment and gives the animals a great life. I highly recommend supporting this small farm.

I got a whole pig from Carissa this year and it is so delicious. The taste is so much different/better than store bought and I love knowing that they pigs wander around the woods, are treated with love and aren't given any antibiotics. Highly recomend.

Withywindle Valley Farm practices sustainable grazing techniques. They respect the land, and care deeply about the well-being of their sheep (+ other farm animals!). Sometimes they host community events on the farm, which are always a delight!

Love this farm and this farmer ! Not only doing excellent work with healthy meat and beautifully tanned hides, but also teaching community classes for tanning and other valuable skills. Really inspiring to see this farm grow.

Carissa’s care for her animals and the environment shine through her top notch pork products. My husband raves about the bacon, and we include Withywindle Valley products in all our holiday meals!

I love everything Withywindle! We have a gorgeous sheepskin, sheepskin collar, multiple raw fleeces, earrings, and dog treats. Everything has been top-tier.
