Wilson's Meat House

This was my first time ever coming here. My dad wanted me to come because this is where he buys his meat. I wasn't disappointed. They had so much to choose from. I even had a smoked half chicken that was delicious. It was a little spicy, but it was good. I also got some fresh pork rinds and a lot of other meats. Will return.

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed, I've heard about them a few years ago. I decided to make a trip from Jackson to Crystal springs to visit them. And to be honest, it wasn't what I expected. Don't get me wrong, but all the hype I heard didn't quite measure up to what I expected. They had a lot of meat and product, but it wasn't worth the 30 min drive. I got some deer meat sausage and tried the smoked ribs, which was pretty amazing, but I was a little disappointed. I definitely would recommend them if you enjoy the taste of game meat and smoked ribs.

Came here the day after Thanksgiving and got the last deer sausage! We pulled up and they were smoking meats out back. Usually when I come to Mississippi I’m visiting family in Jackson but this place has been added to my stops when I come down south. Certainly worth the 40 minute trip. I got all my peas and beans here that I can’t get at home living in the southwestern United States cause they don’t know nothing bout crowder peas lol. I got my plunder back to the house and it was still mostly frozen. Will be back next year to stock up again.

Great store that sell good quality venison, pork and beef always fresh with great taste. Store is clean and staff friendly/welcoming. Love their hog head cheese don’t forget to buy some crackers to eat with it delicious!

Wilson's has some of the best pork link or pan sausage (those "Mississippi Sausage" as people call them in TX) and BBQ rub. I've made special trips just to buy them.

Great selection friendly and attentive staff and a huge variety of meat,including cooked food daily I stop by 2 to 3 times a week. They also have a huge parking lot..big enough to park a truck with a trailer wile u shop.

It's the best place fresh frozen vegetables and good meat just outside of Jackson Mississippi. When I come to Mississippi to visit family, it is a MUST STOP, when headed back to Texas.

We’ve been shopping here for years, and every time we come, everything has been great, except the last time we brought okra there, pieces of the okra was very hard, quite disappointing, please don’t put hard okra into the bag and sale it, we spend a lot of money when we come, I’ll rather buy less for more money.

Meat shelves where they keep the deer links were filthy and almost bare. Staff was nice

I live in Chicago and I pay for shipping with no problem for their sausage and catfish fillets.Never been disappointed

Great meat market with lots of selections of fresh beef and pork. We make the trip for their smoked sausage. Some of the best we've found - ole time seasoned. Always busy, you can see the butchers slicing up the meat to order just behind the counter. Has a deli serving fresh cooked meat as well.
