We have been partakers of the fresh eggs since the Wilde Rose Farm chickens have been producing. Very pretty and healthy products. More recently we have enjoyed the "meat chickens," and they have proven very tender and tasty. We trust the owner, Kenneth Darden and his products. We plan to continue to be their customers. We feel safe eating their produce.
We love supporting local farms and Wilde Rose has delicious eggs from a variety of breeds. We’ve also had their whole chicken roasted and it was tender and juicy. Highly recommend. They use non gmo feed for all their animals too! Looking forward to trying their pork when it’s available.
I dropped in at the farm by happenstance while on a drive through Winnsboro. Met the owner, a very knowledgeable and welcoming gentleman. He's just one of those good guys that has a growing operation, and was happy to show me the farm and answered all my questions. I decided to buy a carton of eggs produced by the pasture-fed chickens (pretty much everything he uses is non-gmo). Excellent quality eggs, and kids love the variety of natural pastel hues of the shells. I look forward to returning soon and sampling other products (pork, poultry, etc.). Cheers!
