Honestly this place was soo cute and convenient, it’s a welcome addition to downtown temple. I went here a couple nights ago around 4 pm because I just needed a pound of beef for hamburger helper and I didn’t want to fight the crowds at H‑E‑B. They immediately greeted me when I walked in and got to work weighing out my meat while I browsed the rest of the store. I picked out a local soda for a treat and met them at checkout, the whole process was quick, friendly and painless. Will definitely be back to try their pre formed burger patties.

Either for a great steak or grabbing something before you head home. Supposedly, the bakery is coming soon. Local beef so you know the jerky slaps. Swing by and say Hi. Support your local grocers.

Quaint and very nice place to visit. Staff is so friendly and helpful on products, very knowledgeable. Products themselves are pf amazing quality, price is decent enough for the quality overall, cannot complain nor will, being able to shop local is was really is rewarding in itself. There is definitely a difference in having product that is fresher and better!! Will be coming here as regular as possible!!

Open, pleasant upbeat vibe, and extremely clean establishment! Their meat market had several options, fresh, seasoned, and bulk. The Bakery had fresh baked goods. The staff was friendly and helpful, and informative.

I want to like this place and have been here before, but my visit today (06/07/2025) was such a disappointment. Arrived around 9:30am and they had been opened for thirty minutes. Wanted to get some fruit kalaches from the bakery but was saddened to see they had practically nothing prepared! When I inquired, the young lady told me they just opened so nothing would be ready. I joked that expectations are that someone would come in early enough to have fresh baked items ready for customers when you open. She just looked at me like I was an alien and said nothing. I left without buying anything. Bakery very sad, but at least the meat side is good.

We bought a frozen pack of beef fajitas, a roll of sausage, brats, a loaf of sourdough, and cookies. The beef fajitas were delicious! We’re looking forward to coming back for their steaks. The sourdough and cookies were also very good - definitely going to get more from the bakery next time. The space is big, nicely put together, and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to coming back!

My first time visiting I got some liver cheese and cinnamon roll what a combination, the liver cheese was great and vacuumed sealed I'll be back to try more I haven't ate the cinnamon roll yet but it looks good I'll let you know.

I love shipping local and this place does not disappoint! It’s very clean and the staff is so friendly! We got free frozen kolaches when we left. They were AMAZING! We also tried the summer sausage. It was tape good, too. We bought a few collies from the bakery. The cranberry almonds we so good! I’ll be shopping there often!

Clean and well organized environment. Bought a ~2.5lb tri-tip from them that I reverse seared on my pellet grill. Awesome customer service and all the staff was knowledgeable and friendly!

Visited on Monday… got all excited about the huge cookies. Sat right down and enjoyed half of it. The rest went home for later. Nice and clean and super friendly folks running this place. We will return soon for more Goodies. ♥️

My Husband and I come here to get meat; we only get our meat from Westphalia. The prices are extraordinarily low, and that chorizo is outta this world !

Great meat market!!! Been there numerous times!! Always satisfied!! Trying the cinnamon rolls tomorrow!!!

Got some good marrow bones to make bone broth at a great price, and their pork chops were nicely priced. Their meat sticks were a great snack for our drive home too! I highly recommend them!

So glad they have opened a place in Temple! The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. They have the best quality meat around. Can not wait for them to get there grass fed beef in the store. They will be getting all my business from now on.

A great local meat market, bakery and small grocery store. I have had at least a dozen items from the meat market and they’re always delicious and competitively priced!

best selection of meats and ready-to-cook meat meals in the area. I love this place...it's my new grocery store and I stop in often. Snack packs are my favorite snack.
