I asked Grok to find me a family-owned ranch with high quality beef and low production numbers close to Austin and ended up going with Watterson Ranch. It is amazing! I ordered a half cow and will definitely be ordering another one as soon as I put a dent in this one. The quality is top notch! The meat is tender, the fat has that yellow color that you only get from grass-fed beef, and the flavor is out of this world. They were very communicative/responsive, helped me decide on how I wanted all of the steaks cut, and delivery was easy. Definitely give them a try!
Tried them out for the first time a little over two months ago and I’m super happy with it! I got a 1/4 cow — still working through it, but already ready to put down a deposit for my next one (I eat a lot of beef!). The quality is great — truly grass-fed and finished, everything was vacuum-sealed, labeled, and delivered right to my door. Super friendly folks and great communication the whole way through. What’s not to love?
No other place you should get your farm raised Beef! Great family, generations of Texans and some of the best people you’ll ever meet.
