Hey Von Hanson. What is with the cut on this rib eye? Explain. why was one end cut at over an inch thick SLOPED down to less than 1/16 inch thick? Terrible amateur hour cut job. Should have just went to cub at least their steaks are a nice even cut. Would the butcher who cut and pretty much wasted the meat of the cow like to explain how to get a nice even sear with a medium rare inside through out the entirety of this prime rib cut? Because I sure as hell would like to know. Also noticed your applications being accepted sign in the window. Might want to hire some people that can actually achieve a proper even cut. Thanks for wasting my money and disrespecting the life of the cow.

Great meat selection and the best fresh buns. If you don't see a cut you want in the case, they go in back and get you the cut you want.

Best Maple Beef Sticks ever. I have had them smoke Whitefish for me. Great end result and a great price. Friendly and helpful service. Wide variety of meat and other stuff as well. There are even dog treats there.

Bye Bye Vons 4, 5 years of coming here, spent thousands. Thousands....(I'm Norm from Cheers at this joint) the guy says management says they can't trim the excess fat off of the steak. I spend upwards of $200 per week. It may seem petty, but I will bow be moving my business some place else. There is a level of respect, and von Hanson says screw you and your commitment, we want our money. Had a convo. with Phil. I was passionate but he complained that I was to angry. Just bought two sirloin filet, terrible meat, like eating beef jerky..

They got some good stuff but the beef jerky continues to disappoint, normally there isn't enough fat trimmed off the pieces and the fat goes bad and makes it tastes wacky, decided to give it another try today and the garlic cracked pepper beef jerky literally tasted like salmon which was a first.

We have been purchasing meat here for years and enjoy the many selections offered. Their service is good and their beef brats are super delicious. Convenient to get in and out as well as they are on the corner of Old Shakopee and Normandale Blvd.

This place is a destination for us when we visit our son , the cattleman's beef pack is my favorite bundle. We also like the brats for summer grilling . We all love this place .
