I’m at Von Hanson’s in Chanhassen so often they might as well give me a name tag. This place is everything. The second you walk in, you’re hit with that perfect smell of fresh meats, spices, and pure happiness. The employees are always top tier, but Jacob in particular is an absolute rockstar. He knows his stuff, always remembers me, and somehow makes the experience even better every time I stop by. The guy deserves a raise. Let’s talk about the snacks—legit next level. I’m addicted to the seasoned pretzels, jerky, meat sticks, and whatever other magic they’re whipping up back there. I’ve tried just about everything they’ve got and it never disappoints. It’s honestly dangerous how good it all is. Also major props for having a great selection of non-alcoholic beers. It’s such a nice touch and something you don’t find just anywhere. Bottom line: I’m obsessed with this place. Von Hanson’s in Chanhassen is not just a store—it’s a lifestyle. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out big time.

For being a meat market not a lot of meat in the case. Lot's of stuff all season. Problem with that is a lot of people have allergies to things. So they are left with nothing to buy. Hy vee and Lunds have more to pick from.

Von Hanson’s is one of those places you feel guilty about not going to more often. Sort of like church…only with meat! Every time I come here I’m blown away by their selection! From Brussel sprouts to dog bones, there isn’t a single thing in this joint that doesn’t make my mouth water!

I had a great experience. They were very busy and the service was fast and pleasent. Very high quality and a decent variety. They have the best buns for brats. Not too expensive.

I choose Von Hanson because I have heard they have quality meat. I went to purchase something and found out that they did not want to be bothered with my business. I must have interrupted the workers routine and felt extremely uncomfortable. Like I was a nuisance for shopping here. Is customer service a lost art? What ever happened to greeting a customer? Wanting to help a customer? I will take my business elsewhere I guess.

Always buy the Salmon spread. Always good. This time a bit too much vinegar taste was added. Got a half pound. My guests would not eat it. Fix it please. Service as usual was great. Super place. A neighbor

Great meat market for someone in a hurry...they move fast and turn orders quickly. It's a chain, and it shows a little in the service and offerings. Competes with L&B and has a few unique items but does not compel me to make a choice either way, so L&B gets more business due to broader assortment beyond meat.

We love Von Hanson's!! Their tomato basil pork chops are amazing. Do yourself a favor and give it a try : )

Great selection of meats ready to throw on the grill, also have homemade breads and pretzels. I like how the store is organized and easy to find what you are looking for. I was enjoying looking at all of the great meats and forgot to take photos.

Great selection. A bit pricey but you easily get what you pay for. The service was fast, friendly, and professional. Love this store and will be back more often.

Normally I would have very good things to say about this place, been shopping here for years. Today we were helped by someone with an attitude and clearly didn't care about us, the customer. I will chalk it up to him having a bad day and move on. If it happens again, I will shop at another location.

Meat looks good but definitely too pricey. Cooking it now so I will change my review depending on taste.
