Von Hansons Meats

Went to get some steaks and got some small sirloin steaks. They weren't pink but starting to turn darker, but figured they'd be OK. Mainly because I wasn't paying $45.00 for a 8oz filet mignon, I could get a whole meal for that with the steak and sides. But the ones we got were so tough and bland. Maybe a different cut, but I wasn't sold on the place. For the money they want for everything in the place, I'd rather go somewhere else and get a better product. I can't justify their prices for what you get. I'd rather go to Coborn's and have more selection.

I spent 160$ but the pork chops I'll definitely buy again even at their high price it's way better then store bought food!

I was looking for a summer sausage preferably uncured, gluten-free, and dairy-free. I was hoping to maybe find wild rice or something different -.they had cranberry but they also had cheese in it

Very great products and helpfull staff. Pricing seems a bit high. I wonder also about the sourcing of their meat counter.

My favorite place to buy meats for grilling and smoking! Ribs are the best I've found locally. Very meaty and well worth the price! The marinated meats are delicious and tender. Staff is really informative about their products and are very helpful with questions. There are HUGE chicken breasts stuffed with pepperoni, mozzarella, and salami THEN they are wrapped with bacon! Easy cooking directions and INCREDIBLY delicious. Fantastic Jalapeno Poppers too! Must try the Beer Can Chicken Thighs too! Nice smoky, savory beer marinade that grill up perfectly. Garlic and Cracked Pepoer Jerky is one of the best tasting I've had. Large amount of roasted bones for your dogs too!

Monthly special are amazing. However, I am loyal to their dill ranch pretzels. I recently got a batch that had some over cooked ones in the container and OMG YUM! Please consider selling some slightly toasty Flavored pretzels, so good! Be like Cheeze it's, sell toasted for us :)

"BLAZZIN" MEATSTICKS, stopped by to get a few along with a couple different kinds. They do promote buying individual meat stick purchases, as there are 3 or 4 varieties in the case. When I went to the the counter to checkout, I got some push back from the older female employee saying " THE only loose sticks you can purchase are the varieties they have in the case, otherwise we cannot break the pack open". To her credit before I left without getting anything, she double checked with "Casey" Mgr and he was like sure absolutely, lets do it. Great job Casey, not the biggest ring you will have all day but this $13.65 customer appreciated your service. Last thing though, your panel sign that goes in that shopping center sign looks so bad on both sides, like your going out of business. Your better than that. I only buy meats from here. Everyone is really friendly. They just don't have meats. Lots of meats to looks at. Pizza, meat bundles, sausages and more

Used to get seasoned grill steaks all the time from von Hansons. Yesterday at a golf tournament fundraiser for Christian Life Academy School at Magnolia Landing golf course in Fort Meyers they had Von Hansens dill ranch pretzels. Just got a nice thick top sirloin to throw on the grill. They kindly handled the transaction over the phone and brought the steak to my car. They picked a beauty! Lots of varieties and not real expensive just a better quality

Good service, but you're going to pay double the price for a cut of steak at half the quality. New York strip cooked medium rare had the consistency of a thick piece of roast beef. Not the first time I've been disappointed.

Pork shoulder were very cleanly trimmed. I only paid for meat not bad fat.
