Victorian Farmstead Meat Company is a business focused on providing high-quality, locally and sustainably produced meats to customers. They offer a variety of meat products including lamb, chicken, pork, and turkey, with a strong emphasis on customer service and personalized experiences. The business operates through a custom meat box service and has garnered positive reviews for its product quality and customer care.
We ordered various, difficult to source cuts of lamb, for our own enjoyment and to use for recipes for our food blog. SOOO pleased with the service experience and the quality of the meat we received. The pricing is comparable to other outlets we have used to source lamb but the choices are broader, if you love lamb this is an excellent resource! Pictured is a rolled boneless breast of lamb we brushed a wet rub on before slow roasting. It turned out excellent!
I have been a custom meat box customer with Victorian Farmstead for almost a year now and it is one of the best decisions my family ever made. I am a chicken girlie and their tenders are the best, as well as their ground chicken. Their lamb kofta is one of my all time favorites. And their pork cutlets are always perfectly sliced. On top of high quality meat, the owner, Adam, is a very special person. He truly cares about the wellbeing of your family and your health and it shows in everything he does with Victorian Farmstead. To be able to contact the person you get your meat from, via text/phone, and have him know you by name is such a special experience. We pick up our box bi-weekly at the counter located in Community Market and those guys also know me by name. I deal most with Cosima (I'm so sorry if I spelled that incorrectly) and he is a top notch customer facing employee. Being a Victorian Farmstead customer has changed the way we eat and the way we approach our food budget. I would rate them 100 stars if I could.
First time customer here. Our Thanksgiving turkey was delivered as promised. It was oven-ready, perfectly defrosted, and well chilled. The 17 lb. bird served nine with plenty of leftovers to go home with guests. We also ordered two dozen eggs. They were gathered the day before delivery and are delicious.
We've been using CSAs for years. Top quality product. The owner, Adam, has personally responded to via email and text. He and his family eve went the extra mile to make sure I got my Thanksgiving turkey on time.
Adam and the rest of the crew at Vic Farm are very customer friendly. If there is any glitch or mistake (mine or theirs), Adam makes it right. The meat is locally and sustainably produced. And delicious! I’m a happy customer since 2020.
I've only recently found out about Victorian Farmstead Meat Co. For those last 2 years our family has been so Pleased with our Thanksgiving turkeys. They are so delicious. Thank you Adam and Community Market for making the process easy peasy. From ordering it online to picking it up at the market. We've BBQ'd our Thanksgiving turkey 🦃 every year since I can remember. No other birds even compare to the turkeys from Victorian Farmstead.
I love this company and their incredibly delicious products, and I can't recommend them enough. You want healthy, tasty meat? This is the place. You want a very friendly and personable, fun, service-oriented owner who cares? Adam is the man for you. What an experience!
Great quality meats and great service!! Had my box shipped to NC and even the ice packs were still frozen solid! Can’t say the same for butcher box and good chop.
Quality of meat is great but way overpriced. Be careful when ordering online, our basket was $79 and we ended up paying $116 ! That's almost 50% more than expected, and let's be honest, that's not a good surprise when you have a budget.
Parents buy meat here to run our shop. We use chicken back to make stock that save for months when frozen. Purify with green onion and ginger first before making stock. Thanks VF.
