Wow, what a special find today. We went and had great conversation with Brandon. He was awesome. We talked about where they get their beef and pork, and they have unpasteurized milk, love that! Feed yourself, know where your food comes from, be healthy, research, and remember you are what you eat. Super excited about the meat, both beef and pork really sad that they were out of the homemade chorizo and breakfast sausage. Just gives me excuse to have to go back. Thank you, Brandon and Dustin. Also, if anyone’s interested, they do have duck eggs. I WOULD RECOMMEND

I’ve been a customer here for a while because I really like the quality of the meat it’s always excellent. The main butcher who’s been here since day one is great, and the new hire is also very kind and helpful. That said, there’s one gentleman whose name I don’t know, and his customer service is really inconsistent. Some days he’s pleasant, other days he’s dismissive or condescending, and it makes the experience hit-or-miss. Consistency goes a long way, and it’d be great if the whole team reflected the same warm energy the others have.

Everything looked delicious. Employees were very nice and helpful. We even got a sample of their fresh ground beef for being new customers. We will definitely be back to try more. We bought some Italian sausage for pizzas at home. Highly recommend.

Best sandwich in town! Best hamburger in town. Best chicken in town. The butchers are very knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. I am a faithful patron and I love that Underbelly sources their grass fed/pasture raised meats from sustainable farmers and ranchers. If you value quality food this is your place. I wish I could give them a 10 star review

This a mini treasure in downtown Phoenix. Grass fed, grass finished meats. A professional butcher and wide selection of cuts in the display case. Unbelievably delicious lunch sandwiches, even if a little expensive at $14 but it was fresh, well prepped and flavorful. No game meats here, though. No elk, boar, bison, etc. There’s even a selection of wine and great French butter. A whole animal butchery with product from only top local ranchers and farmers careful about producing the best meats possible. Parking can be tough around noon time in the outdoor parking area in the back… It’s worth the effort!

Just discovered Underbelly today and cannot wait to try the hanger steaks and ground beef. What a knowledgeable fella behind the counter. We eat red meat sparingly but are super looking forward to this. These folks are passionate about high quality beef. Great place.

Underbelly Meat Co. is a carnivore’s paradise! The meats are top-notch—tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations. I have been coming here for a long time to get sliced top round for jerky. Everything in the shop is special. Raw milk, cultured butter, beef bacon and lots of other interesting items... Really a great shop. I do cringe at the square space tip/gratuity screen (25% option for a butcher?) which they always turn to me when i pay. Super inappropriate and uncomfortable, But i keep coming back for the quality and pretend i don't notice because everything else is great.

The best quality butcher in town. They also have insanely good sandwiches. Steak and pesto is what dreams are made of.

Came here to try one of their sandwiches, I had a chopped cheese, and it was absolutely mindblowing. Every ingredient was superb and fresh, and it was easily the best ground beef i’ve ever had. Will be back to buy some meats! Thanks, Underbelly Meat Co.

Consider my heart won. These guys were so helpful after I got let down by a chain store on an important order. My 7lb prime rib turned out super tender and delicious. Absolutely worth the extra vs a grocery store for a special occasion. Will be back - thank you! #underbellysavedmybutt

Friendly people who were patient with us asking questions on everything from info on the quality of their meats to how the best way to prepare. Highly recommend this place for all your grass finished meats.

Found this gem from Paul Saladino on YouTube. Amazing quality. It’s pricey but you get what you pay for. Love the ground beef, sausages, and bacon. Wish I lived closer but will definitely stop by next time I’m in the area.

Simply the best. Quality on meat is superior and price is fair. Literally the ground beef is the same price as Sprouts, but much much better no doubt. Sandwiches are also undoubtedly probably the best in the valley. Kind of a problem for my wallet, but health has no price.

Aww man this place is incredible, I stopped in for a chopped cheese sandwich today, and I can't even describe how delicious it was, could be served in a fine dining restaurant for $50. They are of course a butcher shop and have a bunch of different cuts for sale ect as well.
