Thomas Farm Quality Meats

We’ve been buying this brand of meat from Sam’s for the last several months and the cuts have been absolutely wonderful and the price is even better. However, our last 2 to 3 trips, the fillet cuts are positioned in the package as filets, but are not filets at all. These are random cuts of meat that are tough, fatty and full of gristle. I’ve tried to reach out to the company twice to talk to them about this, and they refused to contact me. We will not be buying this brand any more. And we will definitely tell our friends not to buy this brand either. You can buy USDA prime at the same cost.

NR took my deer to have it processed their, was told it was going to be $165.00 felt that was a bit high but agreed to the price. The facility is nice and the meat was processed on time. When I got home I found the meat was not deboned and the cuts to be poor with a lot of fat still left on the meat along with bone dust. When I returned a call not wanting a refund but to Express my concerns in a nice way. The owner she spoke to me in vulgar language and told me to never come back and hung up.

We stumbled upon this place on a trip north when my sister's boat trailer blew two tires. They were so gracious in helping us hunt down tire shops, allowing us to use their restrooms, and take up a bunch of their parking lot. They even offered to give us a break and help with the tires after we finally got ones fixed to put back on. We enjoyed purchasing some of their snacks and seasonings not only as snacks, but as thanks. Great business and great people!

Where to start. Pro: meat processing they know their business. We have used them the last couple of years for processing our deers because they are conveniently located right off the highway BUT they give off the feeling if you are not a local you aren't really welcome and my money is just the same. We are considering using a different butcher next deer season. We have been loyal customers for several years and still get treated as outcasts.

I just purchased 4 New York straps through Aldi. I have NEVER bought any tough or inflavorful steaks from Aldi, until tonight. The packages states " grass fed"... I thought I was getting black Angus...I got old steer.

They have the best beef jerky in the United States and my opinion. I have to drive 100 miles just to get it and it is on the expensive side which is why I didn't give them 5 stars but it is so worth it. They are in the small town of Ridgeway Missouri right off of the highway so if you're headed north to Des Moines from Kansas City or south from Des Moines to Kansas City is exit 99 off of 35 stop in and see them get some beef jerky they have beef sticks which are great too but a little less expensive. They also process deer, beef, and other livestock for individuals and they also sell USDA approved meat.

Used Thomas Farms many years living in the area on a farm. Now live near Kansas City and still order meat from there

If you don't want your meat deboned & you want bone chips all in it then this is the place to go.
