Sunset Meat Market

Just moved to the area and so happy Define this little meat market. Eating locally raised meets is very important to me and everyone was so nice in the store. They make all of their own Deli salads and I believe the clerk said they also make their brats and sausages too. I will be a regular.

I've shopped online delivery meats and after having Sunset meats, no comparison. Sunset in my opinion is awesome and wll not shop for meat anywhere else.

The service is good and the place is clean and they have good deals on meat .I believe it's better quality than other stores .

This place is beyond epic. We were done here from Michigan working. Last day bought us some ribeyes for great price. Awsome marbleing. Brought all the sides. Pickled beats out of this world . Like mom used to make. Five star. Wish they were in my town Ortonville

I get my salmon there as well as steaks and chicken. Love the eggs. Clean, good service.

The good and bad. They do have good meat which is why I tried the mini hind quarter. At $7 a lb I thought this would be a good deal. Let’s start with the pre made patties. Well they are so thin they fall apart once thawed. The ones that do stay together tend to fall through the grill. We thought ok we will thaw the hamburger that’s a 1lb package. Got 2 burgers the size of a hamburger bun plus 1/4 patty. Pack was suppose to come with porterhouse which they subbed for t-bone with no notice. Would have been fine if the burger was actually what it was suppose to be and usable. Their meat is good but don’t waste your hard earned money on the mini hind quarter you will be disappointed

If I could give this place a zero I would. I have never had anyone who handles food not use gloves. Everyone in the back not one person, there was using gloves handling the meat. Absolutely disgusting I’ll never buy from this place again!!!

Best place to go for Ox Tails.. Walmart or Kroger doesn't carry them.. to bad to sad .

First time bringin a deer there to get processed. Very timely and good price and got a lot of meat from my doe. Cool people with lots of other stuff to buy as well

Wonderful place to buy meat. But I was disappointed at Christmas time and I had placed an order for prime rib roast but there was no marbling and I just had a steak for Christmas.

What a great meat market! Very clean and super nice staff. I have been going there for years and I have never been disappointed. Went there today and the meat was fresh as well as the deli items.

This is a new post. 3/12/22. Just stopped and got some items. Trying the coleslaw for the 1st time and it is pretty darn good. Can recommend this. Their potato salad is by far some of the best I've ever had. Only my wife's homemade was better. Give this shop a try. You won't be disappointed!!! This store really carries quality product. It's not the cheapest, but I have not found any better. Nice folks all the way around. Highly recommend if you want a good butcher.

We are new customers. Some stuff we did not enjoy but I will say that when it comes to the stuff we did enjoy it was absolutely worth shopping here. I do not believe that quality is an issue here. The stuff that we did not enjoy is merely only by personal preference and I am saying this to keep this review as honest as possible. I do recommend this place and hope you enjoy

I ended up doing business here while in the area on a deer hunt. In need of a processor, Sunset came highly recommended. Being from Tennessee and having harvested a large deer to provide a lot of meat for the freezer I was hopeful to get it processed and ready for my return trip as soon as possible. After making a call I was elated to find out they could have me ready to go within 24 hours. Folks, I've been hunting 46 years and can tell you I have never used a processor anywhere that could offer that kind of turnaround. While picking up my frozen, well-packaged deer I decided to add some fresh sausage and turkey sausage to the cooler for the trip home. I'll be back and you can be assured Sunset will be my processor of choice in the future. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly as well!

Always go there for all my cuts of meat. Buy arm roast all the time. Has the best flavor. Always a great selection!

Staff great friendly. Meat bundles decent. However the sausage I just picked up smelled putrid. I did notice til I got home. Repackaged and froze everything immediately except 1lb of sausage. Attempted to cook with it and it was gross. Horrible taste. I think it was bad I just have been working too much to inform them. So dissapointed. I wont buy meat from there again.

Great choice of meats, cheeses and products. Great deli and most everything prepared on site. Incredible service, great prices and friendly staff! Highly recommend.

Staff is always upbeat & personable. They make sure you get what you order & if you need to order anything they will make sure you are called when your order comes. Deli items are always in demand. Great place to frequently shop.

I love sunset meats just wish you would put prices of your meat bundles on the website but if you don't isn't going to make me not want to come back it's really good meat and I don't care how far I have to travel to get more

Very helpful with my questions about beef brisket. So much so that I ordered 2 ten pounders. And they'll trim them for me. And had some very good grilling ideas for me to try.
