Sub Edge Farm

SubEdge Farm is beautifully situated on numerous acres of prairie type land. The fruits and veggies are beautiful and tasty. They also sell organic dairy products, meat, and unique Knick knacks.

My go-to for fresh eggs and honey - nothing beats farm fresh, the quality meats and always walk out with whatever veggies are fresh and there's often some new variety I've never tried. Great outdoor events too. Been coming for years and hope to for years to come!

I had a fantastic experience at Sub Edge Farm in Farmington. The farm's picturesque setting and serene location make it a must-visit for anyone seeking a slice of rural beauty. The owners are not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable, adding a personal touch to the visit. The farm's commitment to offering locally grown products right from their own land is truly commendable. I'm already planning to make this a weekly tradition, and I can't wait to return.

Sub Edge Farm grows delicious food at a beautiful farm in the Farmington River Valley. Visiting the farm for my weekly pickup, I treasure moments of peace as I look at the beautiful flowers, watch the farm animals and greet other CSA members. Sub Edge CSA pick-up is always my favorite day of the week. I have to admit my heart actually quickens as I pull in, red box ready to fill. The greetings upon entering are just part of the extended welcome. No further encouragement is needed as I go through the freshly washed individual containers of gorgeous seasonal produce ranging from kale, squash, herbs, lettuces, tomatoes, to onions, beets, carrots, potatoes, melons . . . There are smiles all around and often a favorite book of the week chat. I love the family, the farm and the incredible miles of hiking trail beauty. But when I get home, another kind of fun starts as my imagination runs wild from all the delicious possibilities in my overflowing red box!

Best place to get farm fresh food, they take care of their animals and produce, and make a point to present the most appetizing products they grew, to their customers. They go above and beyond to make sure you eat the best, and I feel like I eat healthier too.

We have been SubEdge CSA members for several years and absolutely LOVE this place! The food is fresh, local, organic and delicious. We look forward to seeing what’s in the weekly share like kids opening presents on Christmas morning🤗 …

I’ve been a member of Subedge Farm for over a decade. Rodger and Isabelle are amazing farmers- they grow delicious organic produce and are an integral part of the local food system. The farm is a magical place!

This farm encompasses all the great things we need in our community. A broad variety of organic offerings, farm to table dinners are magical experiences, and a wonderful family.

I look forward to summers because it means it's CSA time at Sub Edge! I love the bounty and variety of fresh produce I receive each week, which inspires me to prepare new recipes after a long, cold winter. Plus, I'm always a fan of supporting small businesses and redirecting my money to local farms vs big box stores whenever I can. Fortunately, the location of Sub Edge is convenient for me, which makes it easy to stop in to pick up items even during off-CSA season.

We have been CSA members at Sub Edge for many years. Visiting the farm each week is one of our favorite parts of summer. The Sub Edge team provides a great experience year after year.

The loveliest people and some of the best produce around. We love their partnerships with local bread makers, crafters, and bakers too. We make it a regular stop every week. It always inspires.

Love getting fresh corn and produce from your farm!!! It’s one of my favorites! And being able to buy local, organic produce at nearby farms is one of my favorite things about living in Connecticut!

Absolutely love Sub Edge farm have been a CSA member since the beginning highly recommended if you like fresh organic fruits and vegetables.

The self checkout was easy to access. Looking forward to returning to get more fresh food and to support this location!

Regularly stop here for eggs, local cheeses, seasonal veggies and rustic sourdough bread. A curated wall with honey, condiments, pickled veggies, sauces and unique syrups are for great entertaining.

Update: Still fabulous, can never go wrong @ Sub Edge - still highly recommend!! …
