My daughter attended summer camp at Stoney Acres and had a blast. Emily was very kind and even let us go by the week before so we could ease my daughter to her first week of summer camp ever. They went over different farm topics each day with no screen time and had a lot of hands on experience plus activities.
Both of my children, ages 4 and 7, have attended farm camp at Stoney Acres. They both had a wonderful time with a full day of farm related activities that were educational and fun. This camp has zero screen time and plenty of outdoor time. Every day my children came home with exciting stories and facts that they had learned. I felt comfortable and happy to send my kids to be with Mrs. Emily, as she is a mom and former teacher. She truly loved our children. We will be back for future farm camps for sure!
My girls absolutely loved their week at Stoney Acres Camp! From the moment we arrived, Emily and Michelle made everyone feel welcome and excited to jump into farm life. Each day was filled with hands-on activities — feeding and brushing the animals, collecting eggs, playing in the creek, and learning about how things grow. They also got to do creative crafts, make fun farm-themed snacks, and even learned little lessons about the animals and where our food comes from — all in ways that felt like play, not schoolwork! The mix of outdoor time, gentle animals, and the best camp leaders made this camp a truly special experience. My girls came home every day full of stories, a little muddy, and very happy while asking if they could come back on the weekend for open farm hours!
Emily, her family, and everyone who works or volunteers at the farm are always friendly and welcoming. My daughter has LOVED summer camp, Sunday open farm time, and even had her birthday party there! It’s such a beautiful place to connect with nature and with others who value community and hands-on discovery. It gives kids the chance to run around like little feral creatures, get messy, and just be themselves. It’s also a great place as a parent to sit back and relax or explore alongside your kiddo. The farm store is a delight, full of fresh eggs, local treats, and other seasonal goodies. We love the farm and have shared its magic with several local friends who’ve fallen in love, too. Highly recommend a visit!
My six-year-old recently attended a week-long camp at Stoney Acres Farm. Emily did such a fantastic job creating a curriculum to engage the kids in hands-on learning about farming, nature, and animals. Each day had a clear theme and structure, balancing educational activities with fun and play. It’s rare to find such an immersive, farm-based experience so close to home. My child came home each day excited to share what they had learned—whether it was how to care for animals, plant vegetables, or understand where food comes from. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and are already planning to return next summer!
My kids, 5 and 6.5 had an amazing week at Stoney Acres half day camp. It was a fun, hands-on learning environment packed with engaging activities. My kids came home full of new farm facts and stories about their day. Very positive experience with great memories made!
My 7 year old daughter went to farm camp at Stoney Acres a couple weeks ago during what was likely the hottest week of the summer. She had an incredible time and came home each day with a huge smile, the cool craft they had made each day, and lots of stories about friends, the animals, and what all they learned about that day. She rated the camp a 10/10 and said she wanted to live there. Emily took all of the kids under her wing, taught them all about life on the farm, and created memories for them that I’m sure will last a lifetime. We’ll be first in line to sign up for future camps and other opportunities to spend time at Stoney Acres!
My niece had her birthday party here and it was amazing!!! Great activities, great space, Emily manages the event so smoothly and educationally and the kids all had a blast! Also they have a great market with local items and farm fresh food! Highly recommend
Our kiddo had the best week at farm camp! The kids were able to learn with a different theme for each day and also help out with chores around the farm (in a fun way)! Will definitely to going back!
What a special place! We first came on a field trip with our homeschool group, came back to visit as a family to visit, and then 2 kids attended half day camp! Emily is the best with the kids. My kids couldn’t get enough! Don’t walk, run… to Stoney Acres!
