This was a stop in route to Rome, GA and what a great butcher! Very friendly helpful and the meat is perfect. See pics of what we prepared for our meal. No need for a knife. We did 3 Filets & 1 ribeye. Uummm good. Go get you one!

OMG one of the best ribeyes I have ever had. It was well worth 2 hour drive to get some meat from there. We are gonna try the ground steak for dinner tomorrow. I don't think I'm gonna be buying meats from there instead of , we'll I won't say any businesses, but yes steak barn far from any place else.
Always friendly service and excellent steaks
Being relatively new to the area and noticing there aren’t many close meat markets, I decided to lean on Google. I really only wanted to go here for the meat, and did not realize there was a restaurant connected. Reminded me of some places in Germany and Texas. Ended up purchasing a 10.4 lb brisket for a reasonable price and to my surprise they lady there asked if I wanted to cut it to another size and cheaper price. I had never encountered that before while purchasing brisket. It’s usually you get what you see and that’s it. Me and the wife decided to try the restaurant and I’ll say the steak I had was really fresh and lightly seasoned to perfection. Will recommend to others for certain and will return soon.

Great service. Best meat I've been able to find since moving to Gadsden area. I drive an hour round trip to come here because the quality is reliably good. Custom cut orders quickly available too. Try using their short ribs cubed as stew meat, it's game changing.
They have the best meat around! My husband and I have bought our meats from here since we moved to Alabama. We have even brought our family and friends here to purchase meat and everyone loved it!! Not to mention, the lady in the front is the sweetest person ever!!
We love this place and selectively buy meat from here on am increasingly regular basis. We have eaten steaks and chicken from here across the country while traveling, and prefer the meat from here over most any butcher in the US. Here are a couple of filets we bought yesterday and grilled using Tony's special seasoning mix, Amish Butter, fried mushrooms with Urbani Truffles and parmesan cheese, and homemade potato chips. You could cut the filet with a knife.
If you don’t buy your fresh cuts here - you should. Can’t beat the cut and price. And convenient. A treasure in Cherokee County.
