Stauffer's Butcher Shop

Absolutely love this butcher shop and have been going there since I was a child!!! Love the family that runs it!! I love the fact that they raised their own, it is a local family business who knows what they're doing!!! I've never had a bad thing from there ever in my whole life!!! Stopped in at this shop because we were renting a cottage down the road for the weekend. I own a butchershop myself and enjoy checking out other shops and trying out meats. They had excellent snack sticks and we tried some other products which were good. Did not purchase any beef but I could tell it was excellent quality by what was displayed in the case. They were very busy! Nice butcher-shop and I would recommend!

They very helpful with our first time buying 1/4 beef. Always great quality and can’t beat the prices. Their jerky and beef sticks are worth the drive alone

The meat is awesome, city bacon, city smoked pork chops and smoked sausage are some of my favorites. I go very often.

Great place to get your butchering done they are extremely fast compared to some other local ones. They do complain about to heavy of pigs though with is why this is a four star and not five.

Amazing meat selection and so fresh! The maple brown sugar breakfast sausages are sooooo amazing! Huge bonus points also because they don't have that slimy chewy casing on them also.

This is the only place I get my meat. I drive 20 miles to get there, and the prices are reasonable & the quality of meat is amazing.

Pleasant Staff and service. We don’t buy here anymore because there is no pasturing of their beef. It appears their animals are confined in a dark barn next door and are fed silage and no fresh grass. The taste is somewhat metallic. I’ve never seen livestock out on grass. Sad. Would love to see them graze their livestock, then we would return for business.

Great place! Farm is next door to the butcher shop so the meat is farm fresh. Burger is cheaper than supermarket and quality is no comparison. Bulk orders can be be cut, packaged and vacuum sealed to customer specifications. Quality of vacuum sealing here is great, better than some other places I have been. I drive about 45 minutes to buy my meat from these guys.

This is a family owned and operated business. They have a shop for fresh cut beef and pork, lunch meats and cheeses!! The butcher shop is where we take our freshly butchered meats for custom smoking & slicing, they do offer packaging for fair pricing!! They have been operating for many many years and I, along with my family highly recommend them for all your custom butchering needs!! The workers are high paced but friendly!!

Best looking meats and price. We have been going there for years and won't go anywhere else. At Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day you can get square burgers. All year they have round burgers, but the square are the best.

In my opinion, this is the best Butcher Shop in Central Pennsylvania ! They have the best flavored chipped beef, garlic bologna, cheese beef sticks, and so much more.

The best meat market in the county! The meat is always fresh and cut to order. The girls are always helpful and friendly. They also have smoked meat, cracklings, eggs, lunch meat and cheese. Their city ham is awesome!

All I can say is - Wow. Prices are low and individualized customer service is high. Off the beaten path but well worth the treck. Knowledge of the ladies was first rate. Wide variety of meats and cheeses. ,Will be stopping in on every trip through.
