This now my go to grocery store. Laid back atmosphere with friendly staff. Good selection.

I went in to get a bone in pork butt. I asked the man behind the counter if they had one between 5 and 6 pounds. He said sure, no problem. He took one out the case and cut it for me on the spot. The folks here are really nice and helpful. I wish more places like this were still around and I will definitely be back. We will see how this turns out in 8 hours or so.

I just really love knowing where my meat comes from. Cow is ground beef pork chops and bacon are pig and my chicken is chicken 100%. And the owner is wonderful old-world chivalrous carry your groceries out and hold the door friendly. Definitely a great Clovis NM staple I believe. Blesses

Really enjoyed the conversation with the “older” gentleman behind the counter today. Made some recommendations(jalapeño cheese,etc), was very helpful with what I wanted, and explained the options and extra things they offer. Great to see a local and family business thriving, treating people nicely, and offering good food. This was my families first time going there, and we will be back weekly from now on.

Have shopped from them at least 5 times. The meat and produce are excellent quality and the prices can’t be beat. They have great customer service as well. Thanks for your quality establishment!

Great customer services. Best filet mignon I have ever had. They have everything you need or want. Homemade chicken salad, beans, coleslaw etc. The roasts are always fantastic.

Wanted a hundred dollars worth of steak cut but the man behind the counter said they don't do that. I thought that was their whole job. Also cashier was very rude. Won't be going back

My family and I are from out of town, and we are a bit spoiled to having access to several meat markets with very skilled butchers and amazing meat. I wasn’t sure what I would find when we came to clovis, but I definitely Googled meat markets before we came. The website that links to the Google search result is not the correct one, but I was not disappointed in the service I received or the quality of the meat. I was looking for something specific and they didn’t have it, but they certainly took the time to explain what they could do and made sure we left with some AWESOME steaks. I definitely recommend this place if you are in or near Clovis.

Stansells Meat market is the best place in Clovis to get your fresh meats. The staff is always courteous, and helpful. My wife and I really like that they have amazing sales, and a nice selection of supermarket items. It is like a hometown grocery store that I grew up with in a small town. We highly recommend Stansells Meat market for your shopping needs.

I trust these people with all my heart they are so kind and they care about everybody you will never meet a stranger over there fresh me fresh pressed ham and the kids favorite chorizo they also have sides prepared so that when you're on-the-go you can go get something and don't have to spend too much time cooking come give him a try I give him an A+ Plus

I really like that Stansells didn't close completely. This little store is like the corner store I used to go to as a kid in Portales. Everyone was easy to talk with and very helpful. Plus the meat market is right there in front of you, another memory, and you can request a cut.

My experience was the best. I recommend this place. Taking your groceries to your car is an awesome service they provide. Friendliest staff and very personable.

Went to buy a brisket and have it cut. After many times of having it done in store, was told they can not cut it the way I wanted. No problem, I will buy and have it cut elsewhere. Why spend money at a place where customer service isn't paramount?

This is one meat market that has the best meats hands down. I love going in there and getting the great tasting choices of meat. My favorite are the steaks. They have the best tasting ground beef.

5/5 stars. I ate the brisket COLD and it was tasty as hell. Now i can only imagine whatd be like with some of the beef juice they gave me and heated up
