While in Silver Creek visiting family, I was trying to find some good quality grass-fed/finished beef and came across Stand Fast. Tim was very helpful over the phone and when I met him at the farm he took the time to explain their operations and provide some excellent steak, lamb and liver. His recommendations were awesome and I'll definitely be reaching back out next time I'm in town!
5 Stars, because: If I rated less, I'd have to explain why. I can't think of a reason. I've been buying rib-eye, flatiron, skirt, other cuts, as well as ground beef from here since about 2014. I even invested in a 1/4 cow for myself and I'm thinking of doing that again. The taste and tenderness is superb! Dealing with Tim, the owner/operator, is dealing with someone I trust and respect. The whole little family is good. They're honest, humble, kind, and knowledgeable. I intend to continue sourcing beef from them.
Well I bought a quarter side of beef around 10 months ago I've been struggling through trying to eat it because it's so tough with grizzle not just fat which fat is welcome but the grizzle is so tough you can barely cut the meat now I'm not sure if it was a dairy cow that's what it tastes like an old dairy cow, the Hamburg was good but you don't have to use a knife to cut hamburger notice the grizzle in a ribeye steak all through the whole steak
We got a 1/4 beef from Stand Fast in the fall. Tim was pleasant to work with and free delivery was amazing. The beef is great quality as well! I am happy to support a small business owner/farmer that is local and grass-fed meat!
Love this farm!! We have been purchasing meat from Stand Fast Farm for years and they never disappoint! We live an hour away and Tim delivers to us for free! Such an amazing family and farm!! Highly recommend!
Great tasting beef. Also made broth using their beef bones. Wonderful customer service. Very accommodating. I trust the quality of their products.
