This is a great spot to get high quality meat cuts at a reasonable price. You can even ask for custom cuts ahead of time and get a partial cow. They also have different styles of sausages, bacon, seasoned ground meats, and beef jerkey. This is a must stop if you like high quality meat and are in Santa Rosa

Awesome locally sourced meat. German/Hawaiian/Spanish/UK/Italian/French styles galore. Smoked Pork Chops are melt in your mouth. Honey Lavender bacon is the best ever. Go here, be happy.

I'm so happy SoCo Meat Co opened! Their shop has an amazing selection of clean, high quality meats. They also sell dog food that they themselves make, yay! Their customer service is so good. They are knowledgeable, transparent, friendly, and funny! If you love good, healthy, local, meat this place needs to be one of your weekly grocery stops.

I love this place! I was fortunate enough to receive a gift certificate from my son. The butchers are super friendly and their meats are fantastic. I bought a variety of lamb chops, sausages, marinated Korean short ribs and smoked pork chops. Everything I tried was delicious! I’m going back to sample more of their offerings. I have my eye on their bulgogi and their carne al pastor.

Wow, melt in your mouth smoked pork chop. Also made a side order of grass fed beef patty to go with dinner tonight. Can’t wait to try the pastrami bacon. And the meat jerky stick we sampled there was excellent too!

I recently bought a black soco hat and wore it to work. First thing I noticed was my head itching throughout the day, didn’t think much of it. I started cutting out some drywall and for some reason the hat was attracting all the dust and insulation? After work I got home and saw my scalp had broken out with hives. Needless to say I never wore it again. 2 days later my friend gifted me a Panizzera hat. I got so many compliments on wearing it. Material was so comfortable and my dandruff gone!

Got beef jerky from them the other day it was so salty it tasted like sardines and so leathery that I choked on half of its contents, Seconds later the herpes that lied dormant in my system reappeared, Needles to say I will not be going back.

This is the only place you should be getting meat in Santa Rosa. Friendly and helpful folks and the best cuts that will ever touch your grill. What more do you want?

Went in today to purchase some steaks for a birthday dinner (excellent quality, btw) and I casually mentioned to my partner that I wanted to try the meat sticks they had on display. The man behind the counter overheard and offered me one on the spot to try. Lovely people, extremely reasonable prices, great selection of meats at the counter. I can't recommend this place enough.

I have been living in Santa Rosa for 6 years and I am mad at myself for just now discovering this place. I will NEVER EVER buy meat from a grocery store EVER AGAIN. This place is awesome! The employees are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and you can tell they all love their jobs. I walked in there and everyone had smiles on their faces, pep in their step, and fantastic attitudes! Everyone was very helpful and they really gave me a great experience. I will be a regular here from now on. THANK YOU SONOMA CO. MEAT CO.! You guys are the best!

We are so pleased with the customer service with Sonoma Meat Company. We received our box of jerky ( to die for) Our main reason for buying 10 lbs of hamburger and steaks. ( OakRidge Angus beef) Well worth the money. We live in Northeastern Nevada and I refer friends to try SOCO Meats. Side Note: My sister ( Hildebrand’s ) use SOCO Meats for all their processing of Steers.

I've been coming to you guys for a couple years now about the total of 7 years but today I went in and got my normal beef jerky at $40 a pound and a half a pound of the other beef jerky and come to find out got in the car and the meat is hard and gritty like it's old not that it's been too cold so I asked him about that they got offended and hung up on me this is unacceptable. Since then right away I went back to confront about the miscommunication. When I arrived at Sonoma County Meat Company again, I was greeted very nicely, and I asked why did you guys hang up on me and come to find out it was a phone service issue. I explained what I was having problems with that they were very accommodating understanding and explain to me why the particular beef jerky I had might have been considered like that was because of a batch of beef jerky that it had happened to got a little too overdone. Then they asked me what I'd like to do after that, I replied I'm just here for the killer beef jerky so if you have any that hasn't been a little overdone that'd be great. I also like to add that I've never had a bad experience at this meat company they've been always accommodating nice and they always have the best product in town. come to find out after giving me another pound and a half of beef jerky they refunded my cash too for the pound and a half which I didn't find out about till later on and I was blown away on how cool this company is in the people that work for it so I highly suggest even if you have a problem go back and talk to him they'll make it right. Know that in your heart. One last thing I was a little sad and missed the wagyu that they only get twice a year and they really make a couple batches of beef jerking let me tell you to die for but I was too late. Oh well I'll get that one next year it's worth it cheers

My first experience was great having them custom butcher meat purchased by my company at the Redwood Empire Fair Jr. Livestock Auction supporting 4h and FFA kids. Steer, hog, lamb; all custom cut, frozen and vacuum packed. Nice work. A great local business. The vacuum packing and labeling will insure a long life in the freezer. I have not tried the bacon and sausage yet...... maybe I’ll thaw some out for breakfast today!

After drooling on my keyboard and phone over the last week, I finally called to order some Meat Boxes for those “hard to shop for” carnivores in my life… Rebecca was super amazing, making a minor Christmas miracle happen when I found out those boxes usually need 24hrs notice… The next morning, when my family and I arrived at the cutest little butcher shop in the world, it seemed to bode well that there was already a line, and they had just opened at 10am! The lady and gentlemen working at the counter were SO nice, and very patient with the four of us hmm-ing and ha-ing over what else to purchase… It’s literally like being in a candy shop, and not being able to stop saying “oh! And I’ll take one of those… and one of these… oh no, two of these…etc” Point of the story? Sonoma County Meat Company is simply the best place to purchase the freshest, natural meat products in town… or the county! Let’s not forget how surprisingly affordable they are! I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of meat I got, plus a cute neck gaiter (going back for the sweatshirt next week!) for under $200. This local company deserves our business, and I hope my review will inspire others to go check them out! Thanks again to Rebecca (and Ron at the counter!) for making our experience perfect!

Great customer service and selection. We drove 2.5 hours because Trevor is the only butcher who offered to smoke a tongue for me. everything is priced fairly. I'm so glad they ship! Just a fabulous place

This is the #1 meat shop in Santa Rosa. The wide variety of meats are fresh and well cut. They have all sorts of prepared/condimented versions too. The staff is top notch with excellent customer service. Definitely the best place to buy your meats (no bison)

Just go!) 2022 - Whether you want a specific something or just want to see what's available, this is your one-stop butcher shop. We have recently been buying extra jerky & snack stix for air travel. I trust these folks way more than the nameless, faceless somebody who preps the airline food.
