Sisu Farms

We love the eggs and other products! It is so nice to be able to get non-factory farmed food directly from a local farmer. And even, better - they home deliver!!!

The folks at Sisu Farms are exceptional. I oversee the food pantries and hunger relief efforts for Mountain Family Center (a nonprofit that's just down the hill from Sisu). On a number of occasions, Sisu has donated fresh eggs, turkeys, and other overstock product to our pantry. We are so grateful to Aila, Asa, and the farmhands for their acts of kindness. The product and customer service are top tier... so are Aila's informative and entertaining emails!

It's so nice to know that we are eating top quality food! And getting accurate information about different issues also. It all brings a peace to life in this crazy world.

Update 5-16-24: I’ve now tried their bacon and bacon jowl as well. Eating real bacon, like Sisu farms’, makes it so clear how toxic store bought meat is. The jowl in particular is such a treat. Check Sisu out. Give them a chance to impress you. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve been ordering whole chickens and eggs from Sisu for over a month now. Their quality and service are next to none. Accessibility to local food raised right is extremely difficult, but they’ve managed to make it easier by offering at home delivery and in store pickup at a couple of local (and really cool) stores. I’ll continue ordering from them for so long as I’m in the Denver metro area.

We have had a good experience with Sisu from ease of ordering, on time delivery, and great quality. The beef is good and very distinctive in flavor, but we are blown away by the quality of the pork! We have ordered pastured pork from several suppliers and by far Sisu is the best. It’s lean and flavorful and the prices are better than most and excellent for the quality. The meat is not over pumped with water like from some other farms and when you order a cut like ham steak, that’s what you get, not a slab of processed ham loaf. These guys are doing a great job, so give them your support and get the best quality in return!

I absolutely love Sisu Farms. Not only do I love and believe in supporting local families in business, they offer fantastic products, which make it very easy to support them. I have ordered eggs, bacon, whole chickens, sausage, and beef from Sisu. They make it easy to order - you order online and they email you when it is ready to pick up. They have your order labeled with your name on it in their fridges ready to go. The quality of their meat surpasses anything I have been able to find elsewhere and certainly surpasses grocery store product. I highly recommend Sisu.

I ordered eggs and a chicken online. My order was ready earlier than expected! At their location, my name was on the outside of the refrigerator and also on my order. Very easy pick up. I support knowing that my food comes from local pastures and from people who genuinely care about their product.

A high quality product, raised by local people doing the work. Not some imported trash meat from corporate overlords. If you're paying attention these days, you should realize how important buying local is. It's all tied together folks. I like the spicy breakfast sausage, bacon and the chickens. I'm sure the beef is great as well but I haven't tried it, I have another source. I used to order from Moink and when I had trouble getting the products I wanted I decided to go more local. I haven't had a supply issue with Sisu yet and to be honest the product is better anyway!

I've been very impressed with the quality of the products from Sisu Farms and pleased to be buying from a local farm. The chicken was juicy and succulent, the chicken eggs are large and yummy. We had our first pork tenderloin tonight and it was very tasty. The pork chops are thick and the sausage nicely seasoned. .

The quality of products from Sisu Farms cannot be overstated. Hands down, the best ham steaks I've ever had - and I grew up in Iowa where the bar for pork is incredibly high! And the bacon?!? Oh my, the bacon. So meaty and even cut, with a little smoky zing - it sells out all the time and no surprise. Their ground meat products are great too; we especially love the Italian sausage. Chicken breasts? They have those too and so much juicier and more flavorful than those you find at the grocery store. I love the ability to order on line and pick up at my convenience from the fridge or freezer on their front porch. Especially during these pandemic times, the "no contact" approach and ability to avoid the grocery store crowd is a real plus. Would highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!

Sisu Farms has the best chicken, eggs and bacon. The love they have for the animals at their farm is evident in the flavor and quality of the meat and eggs they offer to customers. The chicken breasts are so fresh, they're still pink, and the flavor is so rich, I am reminded of what a chicken breast is supposed to taste like. Their online shopping process is easy and efficient and pick up is no-contact and simple. I highly recommend Sisu Farms.

We love SISU farms! I buy their eggs 3 dozen at a time. They are so much more flavorful than even the expensive eggs at the grocery store. We’ve had the chicken, bacon, oxtail and sausage and really enjoyed all of it. Customer service was prompt and friendly when I had a question and when I had an urgent request they went out of their way to help me out. Online ordering is user friendly and contactless pickup is a breeze

Asa and Aila are extremely knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful. When we moved to Denver I set out to find a family farm that used regenerative farming like the one I loved so much in the Midwest. I stopped by Sisu for my first order and Asa showed me around. I now buy all of my bones for broth and several other items here. Their delivery service is amazing.

So you have to ask yourself is it worth buying a locally raised turkey that is more than 3x,s as expensive as an organic frozen turkey? ABSOLUTELY!!!!!! We were stunned at the difference in quality and taste.The bird was in proportion with beautiful drum sticks. The white meat was plentiful and moist. It had a distinct wholesome taste. Will reorder for next year. If you only buy a turkey once a year, this is the turkey to buy.

The Sisu Farms meat & poultry we've had this fall is delicious!! We are very happy to be able to support local farming. The online ordering is fast & simple and being able to pick up at the farm anytime, day or night, is an added convenience. We're hooked!

Well we love the eggs. It was my first time to buy the beef bones for my beef broth. I don't trust the bigger supermarkets to ensure no MRNA vaccines have been injected. I buy organic products only because we are getting bombarded with toxins from everywhere. Its great to have a local Farm that cares!

We placed our first order with Sisu farms--the owner is great to work with and the product is delicious. We cooked the extra-thick pork chops last night and they were so flavorful and tender. Will definitely order again!

I love Sisu Farms. Their products are so much more flavorful than even Whole Foods. I started buying from them at Broomfield Farmer's Market in 2020, and now that they offer home delivery I've continued to order from them all offseason. Home delivery and their web-ordering system are both easy and convenient.

Our family is upgrading our life in 2021 by shifting to meats and eggs from Sisu Farms vs the grocery store. We can taste the difference in the love and care these animals experience. We love the concept of the farm and the rejuvenation of the land - come on the Winneggo is divine for the ladies egg laying and wakes the land. The meats are amazing, those highland cows provide the best burgers. We like the whole chicken and pork products too. Do yourself a favor and support Sisu Farms. Convenient online ordering and the farm porch pickup is close to all the schools in Granby. Shipping and other pick up spots are available. The cost is not that much greater and the product is superior and the rewards are huge. We like knowing our dollars are going to the right places like Sisu Farms and their family!

I will never buy meat from a grocery store again! Everything I have purchased from Sisu Farms is so superior in taste & quality. Asa & Aila are truly wonderful caring people. They love their animals. They love theIf land. Animals and land are treated with respect. They are constantly looking for was to improve Their sustainable farming practices. I feel better knowing where my meat is coming from and knowing the people who are raising it. And I love buying locally, reducing my carbon footprint.

I am so grateful for the ability to bring such healthy food into my home. I appreciate that Sisu farms raises all animals ethically. The quality of their food is beyond anything you could get in a traditional market. Please consider paying a few extra dollars if you can to support family farming.

My wife and I have been delighted purchasing chicken and eggs from Sisu Farms. We have made several purchases, and we were pleased with the order process, fulfillment and pick up, in addition to being delighted with the quality and freshness of the items purchased.

What's not to like about Sisu? They're raising local food in a sustainable way and on top of that the finished product is incredible. Our favorite is the package of a quarter pig. You get all sorts of cuts and the quality is outstanding.

We love the products from Sisu Farms. It is wonderful to see the chicken living on a pasture. No transportation, no distributor, no warehouse, very little CO2 footprint. We are delighted to have access to their natural products.
